No. InvoiceAdept connects directly to Stripe, which acts as your payment processor. There is no separate merchant account to set up. The whole process takes around 5 minutes and you'll need your UK bank account details and proof of identity.

Stripe pays out to your UK bank account within 1–2 working days of each transaction. After you've built a few weeks of payment history, this typically moves to next-business-day payouts.

Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported, so customers can pay with one tap on their phone. All major UK consumer and business cards work.

Stripe card payments are a Pro feature. The free plan includes PDF invoicing, email delivery, and basic payment tracking. Upgrade to Pro to enable the pay-now button on every invoice and payment links for WhatsApp and SMS.

If a customer raises a dispute (chargeback), Stripe will notify you and give you the opportunity to submit evidence. InvoiceAdept's invoice records, timestamps, and customer contact details are all available to support your case.

Yes. All card data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security. InvoiceAdept never stores card details on its own servers. 3D Secure authentication adds an extra layer of protection for every transaction.

Yes. From any invoice, you can generate a shareable payment link and send it via WhatsApp, SMS, or any messaging app. The customer taps the link, sees the invoice summary, and pays by card — no login required.
